The Best Way To Build Muscle Part
2
“How Two Different People Can Follow
The Same Muscle Building Program And Get Completely Different Results.”
In part 1 of the best way to build muscle series, I discussed the difference between going
through the motions and becoming fully engaged in your bodybuilding
program. Based on my experiences as both a gym junkie and a personal trainer, I really do believe that the key
to gaining muscle mass is absolutely loving what you do.
If you’re passionate about the process, it’s going to be a lot easier for you to overcome some of the obstacles
that are inevitably going to pop up. On the other hand, if you hate your workouts and you really aren’t committed
to your chosen bodybuilding nutrition plan, are you really going to
be able to sustain the kind of effort required to build muscle on a consistent basis? My guess is probably not!

In part 2 of the best way to build muscle series, I’m going to go over a few of the things I’ve
identified as a “common thread” among my friends and clients who despite having access to all of the right
information, weight lifting equipment and muscle building supplements, still did not manage to reach their muscle
gain goals. Pay attention and learn from this – it’s not something that’s discussed very often!
How A Few
of My Clients And Closest Friends Managed To Undermine Their Muscle Building Success!
As a personal trainer, I’ve seen many different types of people walk through the gym door claiming that they
want to know the best way to build muscle safely and naturally. While the goal of building muscle is a popular one,
the truth of the matter is that very few people are willing to put forth the effort required to make it a
reality!
Here’s what I’ve observed from both my clients are friends who despite all of the advantages they have still
managed to gain relatively little muscle mass…
 |
They refused to train with
intensity – the intensity level required to build muscle mass! |
 |
They bitched, moaned and complained at the idea of eating 6+ times
a day. |
 |
They grimaced when I recommended including a variety of whole food
protein sources into their diets. |
 |
They hated the idea of performing aerobic exercise and they hated
the idea of squatting hard and heavy even more! |
All in all...the group of my clients and friends who did not achieve very good muscle building results
typically had a very hard time making it to the gym each day. Once they arrived, they sleep walked their way
through the workouts and grimaced at the first sign of discomfort.
Don’t get me wrong, each of these people still gained muscle mass (5 – 10 lbs), but they certainly didn’t
achieve the results they could have by becoming more involved in the muscle building process. While I would love to
believe that everybody is wired like me and loves the idea of doing what ever it takes to build muscle, I realize
that this is far from reality.
While most people will tell you that they really want to build more muscle mass and improve the way their bodies
look – they’re just as quick to lay out their long list of conditions and requirements. If this describes you, it’s
ok you can still build muscle…
As long as you take the time to read through the information presented on this website, implement the muscle
building workouts consistently and pay attention to what you eat and when you eat it, you can still build an
impressive amount of muscle mass – It just may take a bit longer for you to achieve all of your goals.
As far as I’m concerned, the discussion about the best way to build muscle begins and ends with the level of
commitment and desire that is present. The only way to ensure that you have a high level of commitment and desire
is to make sure that you actually enjoy your muscle-building program.
So my advice for anyone who's looking for the best or the fastest way to build muscle is to simply find a
bodybuilding program or system that you identify with and get to
work, implementing the steps religiously and make it a habit to do what's necessary to stimulate muscle growth!
