Progress Report Week 1

Nick Andrade’s Body Transformation Log – Day 7
Objective: To burn fat build muscle and transform my body in 12 weeks

All right, now that I’ve almost got everything all caught up, it’s time for my first end of the week progress report. I’m going to lay it all on the line here let you know exactly what I’ve either accomplished or failed to accomplish – so it’s causing me a bit of anxiety. You never really know which way these things are going to go…you know? Typically I don’t advocate telling clients to take measurements each week, I just feel like a good solid 2 week run is the way to go.  Too many things can derail your plan over the course of a single week and sway your measurements, while 2 weeks is generally enough time to let everything stabilize and level out.

All in all I really felt that my first week of training went very well.  I was able to get to the gym for each of my workouts and while I was there, it felt great to train.  I wasn’t as strong as I hoped I’d be, but I am just starting out – that’s all part of it. I was able to stick with my bodybuilder diet and didn’t fall off track a single time, which is rare for my first few weeks. I did however really, really, really enjoy my cheat day (I ate a large peperoni pizza and a Chipotle Burrito – it just doesn’t get any better than that!)

Here Are All of My Week 1 Measurements

  • Percent Body Fat – 22.1% (an improvement of 1.1%)
  • Current Lean Body Mass – 153.5 lbs (an improvement of +2.2 lbs)
  • Current Fat Weight – 43.5 lbs (an improvement of -2.2 lbs)

Nothing too dramatic here, but still some decent progress towards my goals.  I really feel that I will lose a lot more body fat during the 2nd week of this program (I’m not sure why, but the fat loss effects of  the anabolic diet really seems to kick in during week 2). I also expect to continue to get a lot stronger following along with the second week of the Muscle Mass Advantage workouts, which should help lead to some muscle gain as well.
